Dr. Lize’s practice is located in Potchefstroom, South Africa. For a consultation please call to schedule an appointment. No referrals are required for most medical aids. Fee structures include medical aid tariffs for both consultations and procedures that will be claimed by the practice.

About Dr. Lize Reichert
Dr Lize is a fully qualified medical doctor that has also completed her Honours degree in Pharmacology while busy with her internship. She later qualified as a diplomate in Anaesthetics. She went on to specialise in dermatology and received her master’s degree in medicine in the field of dermatology. Always striving to improve herself, Dr. Lize is currently busy with a post graduate diploma in Cosmetic Dermatology.
Dr. Lize is passionate about her work, which she feels is her life calling. She enjoys caring for people of all ages, from infants to the elderly. She gladly works with all skin problems, big or small, from acne and eczema right through to skin cancers on the one hand and practices that enhance natural beauty on the other.
Dr. Lize regularly attends journal meetings, congresses and training conferences appropriate to the field of dermatology, so as to stay up to date with the latest developments and technologies of the field.
Her knowledge of pharmacology and anaesthetics has played a vital role in her dermatological practice. She is passionate about integrating all her qualifications with one another to provide her patients with the best possible service.
Qualifications obtained
- Internship, Tygerberg Hospital
- Honours degree in Pharmacology (BScHonsPharm), University of Stellenbosch
- Diplomate in Anaesthetics, (DA SA), 2010, Colleges of Medicine iof South Africa, while working at the Kimberley Hospital.
- Master's degree in medicine in the field of Dermatology, under Prof. Werner Sinclair, University of the Free State.
- Fellowship in Dermatology, 2014, Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.
Professional memberships
Dr. Lize is a member of the Dermatology Society of South Africa. She is also registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Billing Policy
This practice has a Discovery Premium A tariff policy – all medical aids paying less that the prescribed Discovery rates will have a co-payment (the member will be notified after the claim is processed)
However, the practice is a contracted service provider for the following Medical Aids (meaning no co-payment for the member given that sufficient funds are available):

- Resolution Health
Private patients will be billed at Discovery Premium A rates as well , consultation fee equals R570.
